♘♔ Food Trip: Tsuru's appetizers
Friday, September 6, 2013 @ 8:02 PM
I have another favorite restaurant now. (
I don't know if it is also Enzo's favorite restaurant)...its...
tan da da daaaan!
TSURU. I particularly like the branch beside Abreeza because a server there, KenT is really, really kind. wehehhe.
anyway, I like Tsuru because they have
BUY 1 TAKE 1 ON MAKIS AND SUSHIS and some other stuff i forgot during
Weekends from 2-5pm and 9-11 pm and on Weekdays at 2-5pm.
I am a big fan of Japanese foods (well, Maki to be exact and all foods for that matter, except for
talong and
paksiw that are not
lechon paksiw) and I am really happy to have that buy 1 take 1. We often go there a lot and Kent already know us. haha!
anyway, i'm not here to talk about their maki because well, I don't have a picture. hahaha. shallow reason but I could say that their maki is yummy :) prices of maki range from 200 pesos and up. not bad for buy1 take 1 :D
moving on, aside from their maki, i love their appetizers! mehehe.
at first, i was always
bitin whenever i eat their appetizers. but when Kent told us that the appetizers were sort of
unlimited, I was like
zooomg! i am so going to eat as many as I can!! hahahaha. so yeah, I had about 4-6 servings of those yummy, yummy appetizers..I did not include to that the appetizers I got from Enzo. hahahaha..
anyway, here's the appetizer i've been talking about:
haha. mababaw kaligayahan ko eh. haha. that is radish and dilis. mehehe. I always love that appetizer in any japanese restaurant that I go to. and Luckily, in Tsuru,
This.is.FREEI am in bliss. hahaha
anyway, that's all I can say. lol.
that's in pancit, I'll try to blog about the maki in Tsuru, but I don't know if i can do that soon. hehe.
anyway, thanks Tsuru!!

♘♔ GenSan bound baby
Tuesday, December 25, 2012 @ 6:00 PM
so as a family, we went to GenSan during the 22nd of December because on the 23rd, we will have our Christmas party.
we arrived at night and just spent a few hours bonding and eating before going to bed because there's still dawn masses the next day.
i did not wake up in time for the dawn mass :( anyway, on the early afternoon, i set foot to SM City Gensan to meet my best friend, Enna :) we met and spent a few moment at Karate Kid (Too bad, i did not have a camera on hand, my cellphone camera is not working).
we ordered sushi and of course, california maki. the maki is okay, but i like Rai Rai Ken's maki better although the one at Karate Kid is cheaper and more bite-sized. anyway, it is my first time to eat a sushi. at first i thought it was real crab meat but then again, it's not as firm as a crab meat and enna and i thought that it is just extenders.. we had fun but eventually, we have to part ways because she has to go to Polomolok :( the time spent is so short but i'm really glad that we were able to see each other before Christmas :))
we exchanged gifts and this is her gift to me: (which reminds me, i put it in the refrigerator at my parent's room. i have to eat it before i go back to Davao)
and after me and Enna departed ways (i accompanied her to the tricycle uhh, terminal? XD), i still stayed at SM for a little while and went to Tita Tess Ciocon's house (Jed's house). stayed there for a few minutes, brought pizza and had a little chitchat with Tita Tess and Lola, oh gad
i've reallly missed them. we catched up with what's going on (Jed and Tin bonds with their half brothers and sisters who are so pretty and handsome by the way), we talked about my TRIMMOC stuff and i felt happy and at home. :)
anyway, i also get to met Jed's half brothers and sisters. the girls are really very pretty,
nahiya tuloy ako. lol. and they really had fun. :) i felt happy knowing that they are all happy.
then, i have to go home, so i bade farewell to all of them and before i went out to the street, Tita gave this to me:
it went really well with my green blouse (in the morning) and with my green dress (during the party). it is so adorable :) i think this is the first gift Tita Tess gave me :"> i promise to never lose it :D
hopefully.
Jed accompanied me to find a tricycle. I tried small talk but that's just as far as we're gonna get. anyway, he's happy with his new one and i'm happy with my own life so yeah, we just remain friends and i am a good friend to his family :) i don't actually go after him anymore, i am waaaaaaaay pass that and funny how people doesn't understand or believe that haha :D
we went home and had the party started :)

♘♔ Tokyo Tokyo at SM Lanang
Saturday, December 8, 2012 @ 1:03 AM
Today, Enzo and I went to SM Lanang. it was my first time there. Okay so the SM Lanang Mall is really, really big. that's my first impression on the exterior. when i came inside, my first impression is: It is a beautiful mall. i mean, the design of the building is not really complex. for me it is simple but very beautiful. Since it is Christmas, it is beautifully decorated with all the Christmas lights and every thing. haha. I like their Christmas tree a lot! :)
there are a lot of specialty stores out there. stores that you can't find in other malls. The Bistro group of companies even had two restaurants in SM Lanang. there are still a lot of vacant spaces there. stores have not yet opened.
My camera is not HD, i was kind of ashamed to take pictures. heh. We strolled. I observed the mall. Enzo bought toys for his brothers. He's currently into Nerf (A brand of toy gun. it's hard to explain, just google it :)) We ate at Tokyo Tokyo since we had planned to eat there since the start of the semester. hehe. :)
okay so Tokyo Tokyo, i didn't know that it is a fast food chain. i always viewed Tokyo Tokyo more like Rai Rai Ken but no, it is more like KFC. the prices of the food is slightly more expensive than KFC but it is delicious nonetheless.
I love their California Maki since it is still very cold. i learned one thing:
Maki tastes yummy specially when it is cold. hehe.
I ordered a something i forgot. it is chicken. it tastes good. hehe. Tokyo Tokyo's set up is more like a fast food chain with a yummy tasting food. and did i mention that they have
unlimited rice? hehe :)
here's a picture of what we ate:
Enzo had the bento box while the bowl was my order :)
so after we ate, we decided to go home and play and test the new toys he bought. but before heading home, we went first to the supermarket because he wants to buy something to eat at the morning.
we went to the wine section and from there we saw that the fountain show is ongoing. it was a fortunate event since i wanted to see the fountain show. hehe. i still has that kid in me and i still get fascinated with simple shows like that.
we went to the fountain area and watched as you know, application of fluid dynamics and free fall concepts are being put to practice along with the programming of the fountains as to which fountain would shoot water with this initial velocity and with a certain amount of volume to achieved an aesthetically beautiful display of fountain show. this amazing display of waterworks was accompanied by pretty lights with different colors and a Christmas music. we did not sit near the fountains and we did not even moved closer to take a picture of the show. i wish i did but my camera sucks, i'm afraid the result will not be beautiful.
we went home after the show and we played Nerf. i wish i had taken photos though. :/ sorry.
