heya! been in Cebu (sorry can't blog about the day trip because the memory card's been raped by viruses, it lost its mind and now it can't remember its files x_X)
anyway, here at the
Best Suites Hotel (and btw,
gwapo yung nasa front desk!! hahahahahahaha
okay, so Crown Regency Hotel boasts its first Sky Walk and Edge Coaster in Cebu City and in the Philippines,
i think.
My brother and I tried the Sky Walk together. it's on the 37th floor of the building (if i'm not mistaken) first, you get into these jumpsuits and safety harnesses. you then wait for your turn as two other staff (one is a guide and the other is a photographer) will be with you during the skywalk.
for people who have fear of heights, sky walk is a really big challenge. you are to walk at the edge of the building with only a rope attached to your back as a support.
well, actually, if you are a fan of great adventure (like me) or if you have no fear of heights, Sky Walk is a bit
boring. sorry to say but i was not really super thrilled. you will walk mostly in the middle and the middle platform is not that narrow either. it was not scary for me. XD
the only exciting thing we did was when we sat at the edge of the platform facing the city. or if we posed their famous pose like this:
the only thing that kept me interested is when they "toured" you around Cebu (because at the top, everything can be seen)..the guide pointed places around the City and gave trivias and all. it's a plus factor that our guide cracked jokes and was a happy person..so at least he put some fun in what we are doing.
package is: sky walk + edge coaster costs 750 php. P650 if you're a student with a valid ID
entrance fee is at 250php, 200 if student
both sky walk and edge coaster costs 300php each.
absolutely no picture taking during the sky walk. they have their official photographer and you can get a digital copy for i'm not sure if it is 350php, 3 pictures and additional 100 for another jpeg file.
make sure to wear shoes :)
so yeah, before going to Cebu, make sure that you really have saved money for this costs a lot! but heck, i just thought:
i don't know when I will be back here again so might as well make the most out of this experience and experience everything while the opportunity is still here. :)
anyway, here are some pics:
before ending this entry: here is a sweet pic of me and my brother:
