heya! so last time (March 8-9, Actually. tehee. it's been so long!), the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) held the 3rd annual SEA Fair at Abreeza, Ayala Malls, Davao City. the Fair included different Feasibility Projects of the Fifth Years of Engineering and Architecture Courses as well as other projects of the lower years
There are Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Civil, Electronic and Communications, Industrial and Chemical Engineering Students who displayed their projects. Architecture students also boasted their Feasibility studies and the different architectural models of the lower years.
For our part, we're not yet graduating but we displayed our products from our Industrial Chemistry subjects namely: Paper, Soap, Vinegar and Wine. They are made from different raw materials. We are five in a group so it is expected that five different raw materials for these products are displayed. here is our display:
i won't go into details to these as this post will be long and boring. hahaha.
anyway, feel free to PM me if you are interested with these products. hihihi..
so yeah, for me, the most interesting projects are those of the ECE and CpE. hehehe. And as always, the displays of the Architecture department draw the attention of most of the crowd. only a few people came to our booth. hahaha. i've been inviting people but i haven't got time to post it in my blog because of the very, very busy time.
and we also produced mushrooms!
aaaand, the SEA Fair did not just included displays but also programs for the different high school kids. in fact i became a watcher in the SEA Quiz Bowl spearheaded by the SEA Math Varsity heads, Quenny and Juslin. me, being a part of the SEA Math Varsity became a watcher and i was surprised at the prize:
AN ATENEO DE DAVAO UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP IN ANY ENGINEERING OR ARCHITECTURE COURSES ohmaygad. imagine? can i join the quiz bee? hahahaha. four FIVE years, you'll be a scholar. hahah. but i think that is okay if you are able to maintain in the engineering and/or architecture courses. hahaha. believe me when i say
dili lalom maging engineering student (it's not easy being an engineering student) but nevertheless, contestants fro
Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao Campus won the competition. so i guess, we'll see them around next year (that is, unless of course they choose to go to UP or some school instead)
i also enjoyed the battle of the bands part basically because i'm a little bit musically inclined :)
check out the crowd and s'more pics :)
