hi! so we are about to start our second semester classes. but before that, let me share to you pictures from our Physical Chemistry Laboratory Experiments. hehe. i will not lecture about physical chemistry as it will bore you..haha..anyway, these are just two experiments:

Steam Distillation and Determination of Equilibrium Constant by Spectrophotometry

and of course, as every year, i always break something..or lose something. bottom line: i always pay at the chemistry department for something. hahaha. and this year, my Laboratory Partner is Quenny :) and here are some pics for you, enjoy!

we broke one still head, one thermometer adopter and the tip of the separatory funnel. :O (Steam Distillation)

you can see two layers separating, the top layer is a Limonene from the Calamansi Extract :) it smells good, btw (Steam Distillation)

our waste after we tested the samples for Spectophotometry :) the most tiring thing for this experiment? the washing part, you have to wash the cuvettes to be used 3 times with the solution you're intended to measure :)

presenting: the Stock, Standard, Acidic and Basic Solutions of Methyl Red: an Organic Dye it acts like Phenolphthalein which changes color to determine whether the solution is acidic or basic but instead of turning colorless or pink/dark pink, it turns yellow or pink :)

throwing out the excess stock solution of Methyl Red :) bye2 methyl red
