you remember Enzo right? my bartender best friend. well, i told you a few posts ago that he was competing for the Shake Rattle and Pour Philippine Bartender Championships. and among 13 competitors, he placed THIRD RUNNER UP!! i was so proud of my best friend. as in :D hahaha. i want to like hug him and congratulate him upon knowing. but of course, he was in Manila and i was in Davao so i can't. and i was the first person to know everything :D haha. 

during the compulsory round, he belonged to the top 3 and he even perfected the drinks exam which was hard because he had to memorize about a hundred plus drink recipes word by word up until the garnish part. (to which the only time i can keep up with him is when he says 'garnish with straw' hahaha.). the only thing that pulled him down was the multiple pour test. and you know the reason why he flunked it? because he got lazy practicing it. haha. i want to like smother him but i can't do anything about it. he is even among the best 3 bartenders during the freestyle round so yeah, if he only passed the pour test, he could have won 2nd or even 1st runner up. but third runner up is pretty much okay. wait,i take it back, third runner up is already KICKASS :)) i am proud of my bartender best friend.
