oh yeah, new year's around the corner now.. :)
i'm excited for this afternoon's party..hahaha..well, i would just like to mingle with my classmates :)
so, what made my year 2008 rock?
it's not really a list but heck, i'll try to remember every bit of blessing God gave me and be thankful for it..
well, this happened in no particular order. whatever pops in my mind, well, might as well be the first or the next..
well, in 08, sam concepcion had a birthday concert! well, i wasn't really present during his concert but i was thankful that finally, his dream came true a day after his birthday. i was also thankful that he had fun. masaya ako kasi masaya xa..and that made my 2008 more awesome :)
then, the quizzers! i mean, being part of 'the quizzers' was way fun than what i expected. i endlessly love tartar ni ronron and messenger fish!! aahahaha..i love the overnights, and exemption from classes, CR moments :)..library moments [wherein, we'll read hp [well, me and msgr. fish do] or other books] hahaha...waking up at around 6 and see schoolmates rushing to school. waking up at the teacher's lounge with the teachers working and curious schoolmates peering at the window [hahaha. sikat??!] lol...missing the parade because we overslept..haha..the experiences could never be replaced. hahaha...plus, the free food courtesy of Ma'am Bayog..haha...then, pumping the CR with me and tartar ni ronron's fave jobro hits [well, she completed the cd collection anyway..haha..and she's a more jb fan than i am..hahaha]..listening to the previous quizzes and answering them, plus laughing..hahahaha...competing with the thrid years and win [hahahaha...daya man kami..sssshhhh..jk.jk.]..laughing our heads off sometimes..talking and talking and sharing stories..hehehe...so, here's to all endless stories and experiences [plus secrets] which made my year super awesome..hehehe..
another thing is...i regained my rank...well, not really the top 2, but i could say that soaring 2 ranks higher is an achievement for me :) i became top3...and i'm happy with that. plus, i regained my 1st honors' award. what's more to ask for?? aahahaha...and.and., i completed the medal for annual honors! haha..1st year- bronze, 2nd year- gold, 3rd year- silver..hahaha..oh dba?? lol..i'm really happy i did..:)
plus, knowing that tita tess and mom is okay with me being just the first honorable mention [well, i'm aiming for that anyway since i already know that nizhar would be the salutatorian, nenen would be the valedictorian..i've accepted the truth since i was in thrid year..:)]..i mean, i was so pressured by paul's mom and my mom..i mean, look at paul and kuya collins, they're like soaring high with their high honors and high grades..then look at me, i'm like an ant to those eagles..i was really pressured since tita tess was like 'dapat first honor ha?' or when we'll meet, she's like 'oh, kamusta na ang honor mo?' and i was like so shy whenever we'll meet because i have nothing to brag about and her children are like really.really intelligent. and to tito jerry, well, i know that he's somewhat disappointed by my downfall this high school cause i know he has really high expectations for his children and for me as his pamangkin...but lately, we met at gmall at davao, and i was glad to hear her say 'first honorable mention? okay lang yun ah, basta may honor' and she smiles, or laughs..haha..i was relieved to hear that it'll still be okay even if i'll be in that rank :) [told ya, i love my family :)] and to mom, well, she pressures me all the time. but when i heard her say 'okay na yun. di mo talga kaya ang salutatorian? sige lang. fist honorable mention din man ako nung pag graduate ko' [gad, all this realizations makes me wanna cry..hahaha..oa naman ako]..i was really relieved to hear her say that and i could almost jump for joy to know that it's okay for her. well, i know she's disppointed and all but she accepted it..hehe..
i love my mom!! i love the family i belong to!
then, i was also glad that i discovered [ahem, discovered tlga..hahaha..] nick jonas, and nathan kress!!! ahaha..i could no longer elaborate what i felt when i discovered them..hahahahahaha..complete bliss...lol
then, being part of the mathematics olympics team quiz..hahaha..and winning! lol..it was my first time to reach regionals [and really, outside cotabato..lol] and it was a great blessing.! and at the regionals, placing 6 out of 9 was an accomplishment for me. of course, i was disappointed but hey, we're not last diba? lol..i would really be disappointed if we were last..but we're not so i was glad. plus the experience it brought was undeniably better! even if we lost, i was glad we did come! i mean, it was fun, and we were like laughing..hahaha...A IS COMING!!! i could never forget it..it'll be one of the best memories of my fourth year life!
then, the s.i.p. ..though we didn't win an award[ except me, being the best defender..hahaha..] i was very proud of my group..hahaha..the experience it brought was beyond awards..haha..we surpassed the hardships that stupid project brought and we emerged as survivors of the killer project..hahahahaha..i was really happy that destiny united us..hahahaha...i love my s.i.p group 4 members..lol...plus, i won as the best defender...haha..but i would like an award wherein all my groupmates could be honored because they also deserve an award as much as i do..;p
then, getting my hair done with nenen at cotabato city and actually loving the results..hahahaha...my family said it was okay..and beautiful. though my mom said that 'kulang lang sa suklay ang buhok mo' hahahaha....
well, having our reunion was also fun this 08..hehehe...plus, getting to get may's number and txting with kuya dingdong [the labelled 'gwapo' cousin by my cousins..hahaha] and getting to know him better [he's really a fun txtmate..lol] and getting to know some secrets from him..haha..i miss him..i miss our family reunion..and getting to sleep late because we're txting..hhahahah...chickboy kong pinsan na may itsura naman eh..hahahaha..
another thing is knowing a lot of secrets from emman. i mean, I LOVE how he completely trusts me..hahaha..and i wouldn't even share his secrets..ever! and i love how he gets back on nightmare! for me..hahahaha..i love it when we're sleeping buddies and he'll tell me lots of stories that i know, he only tells to a few selected people..:) i love the late-night chitchats with him..haha..even though mom always repremands me for sleeping beside them [him and kuya tata] but yknow, for me, there's no malice. magpinsan kami eh..:)
the brosis gang! we got stronger this year..hahaha..and i know that emman would always be there for me! hahaha...whoever hurts me is his enemy..:) though i've mention it already, i'll mention it again I LOVE BROSIS! EMMAN! KUYA TATA!..because they made me undeniably happy :) and they never make me feel out of place even though they have their own love stories to tell and i don't... hahaha...my christmas eve was happier because of them..and the presence of my family [porras and bigbig]..hahaha...i also love kuya tata because he could make me smile..ahaha..malambing na kuya tlga.. :) and emman, well, he is a really cool brother..they really accept me for who i am..haha..i remembered one incidence wherein they came at our house and i haven't taken my bath yet, i said 'ligo muna ako. mabaho na ako' ..kuya tata said 'maya nah..hindi ka pa man mabaho' then emman added 'sige na ate sweet, bonding muna tayo' ahahahaha...well, i couldn't really resist my kuya and my li'l bro can i? ahahaha..
i'm also happy this year that nightmare! found his princess..and knowing that he's really happy with that girl..hehehe..i just hope that they'll last long :) i'm happy knowing that he's happy..and knowing na, ang galing niyang pumili ng kasintahan..
i'm also glad about my friends..close friends and to those not so. they made every minute of my stay in ndc special...to my friends: ILY and i know that you know that :) thank you for everything..sorry if i annoy you much..thanks for being there! i'm just a txt away or a call away if anyone botheres to make you cry, hurt you or even away you..haha...i salvage natin ang mag-away sa inyo! ahhahaha.. :)) and you-know-who-you-are!
i'm also happy knowing that naka baraw ako ng barkada ni nightmare! ahahhahaha..SUV guy, thank you cause you made me happy..hahahahaha...now i know i can! hahaha..kung ganito ako, marami akong makaaway bah..lol
then, my sixteenth birthday..lol..well, i'm not really into that 'sweet sixteen' stuff..for me, being sixteen is like having an ordinary birthday..well, i think i haven't thanked these people yet for they're gifts: NENEN, ENNA, LADY..salamat sa gifts.. :)
of course, the tree planting..hahahaha..nuff said
plus the field trip...hahaha..fivers!!! lol..night swimming with classmates, swimming with fellow batchmates and schoolmates..hahaha...i love it...plus, it's like laag with friends..hahaha...and.and. shopping with friends! lol..
hmm..ano pa ba??? having jobro's cd..and having jesse mccartney's cd! ahahahahaha..
well, i know there are a lot of blessings i forgot to mention but heck, i'll thank God for them anyway.. :)
